Assistant VP or VP - Treasury Services


To lead the daily activity of Treasury Services team as they perform a variety of administrative tasks associated with the Primary Servicing treasury services, cash management obligations and related compliance responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities:




Train, manage, provide timely feedback to team members, and ensure the quality of work prepared by the Treasury Services department.  Responsible for management approval of outbound wire disbursements and all internal ACH money movements within Primary Servicing.  Collaborate with Auditors, Banks and other members of Situs to proactively address client’s needs and address any cash management related-issues.  



Must be able to perform, and instruct others to perform:

  • Efficiently and properly post transactions in the Loan Servicing System
  • Affirm the accuracy and appropriateness of outbound wires
  • Affirm the accuracy and appropriateness of manual ACH transactions
  • Administer the opening and closing of bank accounts
  • Approve reconciliations for clearing, P&I collections and Escrow/Reserve bank accounts under the control of Treasury Services
  • Research and respond to inquiries regarding all transactions, bank accounts, and remittance reporting
  • Review documents of complex loan structures
  • Understand and perform various interest payment calculations
  • Provide customer service to clients
  • Coach staff on the best practices of preparing remittance reports
  • Monitor compliance to required time frames for client reporting and remittance
  • Track outstanding items and actions through the use of monitoring systems and checklists
  • Review and approve Treasury Services desktop procedures specific to each client
  • Interpret and administer loan servicing and reporting policies and controls
  • Recommend and implement new processes and procedures and make enhancements to existing procedures in order to improve efficiency and quality of services
  • Provide pro-active customer service and problem resolution with investors, borrowers, rating agencies, trustees, accountants, and internal partners
  • Communicate effectively with management and peers throughout the Company
  • Ensure compliance of all treasury services, cash management, and reconciliations requirements for all clients
  • Oversee the timely and accurate distribution of internal cash and reporting
  • Perform analysis and reviews of reporting formats for existing and new reporting formats and/or proposed changes to reporting requirements
  • Assist as necessary with audits, attestation reviews and compliance testing
  • Research investor issues regarding payment application
  • Maintain various Department Calendars and Task Lists within department website
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education Requirements:

  • Associate degree with equivalent experience for AVP
  • Four-Year Degree (“BS” or “BA”) majoring in Finance, or Communications, or Computer Science, or similar focus for Vice President
