Business System Analyst


Provide analysis and support for BluePrism and ABBYY FlexiCapture to drive improvements of the products within Situs. Develop automated solutions using BluePrism and ABBYY to solve business problems. Administer the BluePrism and ABBYY environments to ensure consistency and synchronization across infrastructure components. Conduct training sessions to increase users’ knowledge. Perform application upgrades as needed.

Essential Key Responsibilities:

  • System analysis, training and implementation of solutions that meet business needs using BluePrism and ABBYY, or related applications
  • Design solutions utilizing RPA and data extraction best practices
  • Methodically solve business and technical problems using innovative and well-planned approaches with well-documented, supportable and extensible development practices
  • Drive the strategic and tactical roll-out of solutions to customers by creating and documenting test procedures and scenarios
  • Support BluePrism automations and ABBYY projects
  • BluePrism and ABBYY FlexiCapture administration
  • Lead process improvement, technology, and strategic change project as assigned
  • Drive process improvement and identify cost saving opportunities

  • Effectively provide ideas and solutions to personnel at all levels of the organization

  • Identify issues and risks

  • Understand business processes and create process flow diagrams

  • Understand the bigger picture from an overall integration architecture perspective

  • Understand process design documents and technical design documents within the automation space

Required Work experience requirements:

  • 3+ years of application support experience
  • 3+ years of Business Analysis and business process creation/improvement experience
  • Process automation software experience a plus (BluePrism preferred)
  • Data extraction software experience a plus (ABBYY preferred)


  • Business process automation
  • Advanced knowledge of robotic process automation – BluePrism hands-on experience a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of data extraction tool – ABBYY FlexiCapture hands-on experience a plus
  • Strong Business Analysis skills
  • Resourceful with strong and demonstrable problem solving/analytic skills
  • Ability to facilitate training sessions
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and debugging
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure and operational processes
  • Exceptionally well organized, with excellent follow-through skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.  This position requires significant amounts of time educating and training customers {internally} and patience will be key
  • Ability to meet deadlines while achieving high levels of accuracy
  • Ability to gather and compile information and prepare reports
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with management and other levels within the organization
  • Must be customer driven, have the ability to work within a team environment, and be focused on providing high quality service to the customer
  • Understanding of ITIL processes

Essential Computer Skills Requirements:

Advanced knowledge of the following is required:

  • Microsoft Technology (VB .NET, Windows, Internet Explorer, SQL Server, Web Services)
  • Knowledge of Windows servers, Virtual Machines, and SSL a plus
  • Microsoft Office
  • Robotic process automation software a plus (BluePrism preferred)
  • Data capture software a plus (ABBYY preferred)
