Process Analyst


Support Business Systems Analysts in process improvement and technology projects by mapping and understanding current processes, gathering requirements from the customer {internal}, and documenting future process vision.  Understand BluePrism and ABBYY FlexiCapture capabilities in order to identify automation blockers and enablers and articulate them to the customer.  Produce process definition documents, providing details critical to transition processes into next stage of delivery and bring understanding of the business process to support development.     

Essential Key Responsibilities:

  • Interact directly with customers on a daily basis
  • Conduct workshops with SMEs to understand and document processes while identifying automation blockers, suitability for automation, and cost saving opportunities
  • Conduct cost vs benefit analysis
  • Understand business processes and create process flow diagrams
  • Present future state process to the customer to provide a clear understanding of future vision and set expectations
  • Understand risks, assumptions, and dependencies associated with a process
  • Work closely with development team to ensure requirements are accurately mapped and suitable for development
  • Understand the bigger picture from an overall integration architecture perspective
  • Understand documents for process design and technical design within the automation space

Required Work experience requirements:

  • 2+ years of Business Analysis and process improvement experience
  • Process automation software experience a plus (BluePrism preferred)
  • Data extraction software experience a plus (ABBYY preferred)

  • Ability to manage and prioritize assignments
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure and operational processes
  • Exceptionally well organized, with excellent follow-through skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.  This position requires significant amounts of time with customers {internally}
  • Ability to meet deadlines while achieving high levels of accuracy
  • Ability to gather and compile information and prepare reports
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with management and other levels within the organization
  • Must be customer driven, have the ability to work within a team environment, and be focused on providing high quality service to the customer
  • Good understanding of Project Management

Essential Computer Skills Requirements:

Advanced knowledge of the following is required:

  • Blueworks Live or similar workflow documentation tool
  • Microsoft Technology (VB .NET, Windows, Internet Explorer, SQL Server, Web Services)
  • Knowledge of Windows servers, Virtual Machines, and SSL a plus
  • Microsoft Office
  • Robotic process automation software a plus (BluePrism preferred)
  • Data capture software a plus (ABBYY preferred)
